Chris Amato
Chief Executive Officer

Prior to assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer of Tachyon, Chris was co-founder and COO at FactorTrust, Inc where he led the company’s startup, profitable growth and successful sale to a large public company.  Prior to FactorTrust, Chris held executive management roles with telecommunications services and equipment manufacturing businesses, including Scientific Atlanta and Cypress Communications. Chris earned an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, a BS in Finance from Florida State University and a CPA certificate in Georgia.


Christian Nelson
Chief Financial Officer

Christian leads the Company’s Finance, Accounting and Risk Management functions.  Prior to joining Tachyon, Christian served as Chief Financial Officer of Movius Interactive Corporation, an international telecommunications software firm; VP Finance of Racemi, offering a SaaS solution in the server workload migration space; Senior Director of Finance and Controller of Alimera Sciences where he assisted the company’s successful IPO; and, based in Switzerland, Director of Finance EMEA and Controller of JBoss, an open-source software company acquired by RedHat.  Christian began his career in the Atlanta audit practice of Arthur Andersen.  Christian holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a BA in French from the University of Alabama.  He holds an active CPA license in the state of Georgia.


Kimberly Lunsford
Director Human Resources

As Tachyon’s Director of Human Resources, Kimberly is the company's go-to-leader for "all things employee," including recruiting, hiring, employee relations, benefits, organization design, performance, development, training and regulatory compliance. Kimberly is an HR professional with over 20 years’ experience and an active member of professional organizations including SHRM, SHRM Atlanta and HRMA (Human Resources Management Association). When she's not guiding employee relations at Tachyon, Kimberly works as an active volunteer of Camp Sunshine, a program that offers an infusion of love, support, fun, acceptance and hope for children with cancer. She additionally provides volunteer services to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Additionally, Kimberly serves on the Advisory Board for Etowah High School Construction Program and partners with Community Programs such as Matiak Foundation and Goshen Valley Foundation.

Barry L Boniface
Board Chair

Barry joined MSouth Equity Partners as a Partner in 2012. Prior to joining MSouth, Barry was most recently employed by Barclays Capital as Chairman and Global Head of Communications and Media M&A. Prior to joining Barclays, Barry was the Chief Strategy and Development Officer at BellSouth Corporation where he was responsible for leading several high-profile M&A transactions. Before returning to BellSouth in 2001, he served as Board Member and CFO of Cypress Communications. Before joining Cypress in 1998, Barry spent four years as BellSouth’s Executive Director of Corporate Development. He also has held previous positions in private equity, operations and investment banking. Barry holds a BBA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.


Mark L Feidler
Board Member

Mark joined MSouth Equity Partners in 2007 as a Partner and co-founder. Prior to MSouth, Mark amassed 15 years of M&A/transactional experience, coupled with 10 years in various roles in executive-level operating positions. He served as President and COO of BellSouth Corporation until its merger with AT&T in December 2006. Previously, from 2000 to 2003, Mark was the COO of Cingular Wireless, commencing upon the formation of Cingular when BellSouth and AT&T (formerly SBC) merged their domestic wireless operations to form Cingular. From 1991 to 2000, Mark served as the head of corporate development for BellSouth and as President of various operating subsidiaries. From 1986 to 1990, he worked in the investment banking department of The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Inc. From 1981 to 1986, Mark was an associate in the corporate law section of King & Spalding. Mark holds a BA (1978) in Economics from Duke University and a JD (1981) from Vanderbilt Law School.
